RUOTE NELLA STORIA MANTOVA

Today at the Tazio Nuvolari Museum, in the presence of local authorities and members of the press, the press conference for the presentation of the ACI Mantova “RUOTE NELLA STORIA 2025” CLASSIC CAR RALLYwas held. The event is scheduled to take place in Mantua on Sunday, April 6.

Giuseppe Pottocar, Director of Automobile Club Mantova, and Luigi Simoneschi, President of the Sports Commission, emphasized the goal of combining key values—sports, culture, tourism, and local promotion—into a single, non-competitive event that will take place between Mantua and Volta Mantovana, along a 75 km route.

The “Ruote nella Storia” rally, dedicated to Tazio Nuvolari, also represents a significant success, both in terms of the high number of registered crews from all over Italy and for the strong collaboration between many important public and private institutions:

  • Province of Mantua, Municipality of Mantua, and Municipality of Volta Mantovana, which have granted their patronage and support;

  • Società per il Palazzo Ducale – Mantova, represented by President Sandro Sarzi Amadè, for its support of ACI. In fact, the event program includes visits to two extraordinary landmarks: the Ducal Palace Museum in Mantuaand Palazzo Gonzaga in Volta Mantovana;

  • ACI Storico and 8Volanti Tazio Nuvolari Club, for their organizational support and commitment to promoting historic and sports motoring;

  • GlobalMedia, a Mantua-based company and leader in digital innovation and high-quality event production, which plays a vital role in spreading the legend of Tazio Nuvolari and the beauty of Mantua around the world.

Particularly appreciated were the speeches of Dr. Annarita Santantonio, Chief of Police of Mantua, who emphasized the strong cooperation between ACI Mantova and the Police Headquarters, especially in the sensitive areas of road safety and traffic education; Dr. Giovanni Buvoli, Deputy Mayor of Mantua; and Lawyer Enrico Lungarotti, Councilor of the Province of Mantua. They all highlighted how the integration of sport, culture, and tourism ensures high visibility and excellent opportunities for promoting our territory.

The 2025 edition, dedicated to Tazio Nuvolari, will feature visits to the Ducal Palace Museum in Mantua, Palazzo Gonzaga in Volta Mantovana, and an exciting 75 km route, as detailed in the link event program.

EVENT PROGRAM – Sunday, April 6, 2025

08:00-09:00 – Gathering of participants in Piazza Sordello, Mantua: welcome, distribution of badges and promotional materials.

09:30 – Departure.

10:30 – Visit to Palazzo Gonzaga in Volta Mantovana (MN).

12:00 – Departure.

13:15 – Lunch at Officina del Panino in Piazza Sordello, Mantua, with greetings from the President and award presentation.

15:30 – Visit to the Ducal Palace of Mantua (without moving cars).
